In AB 1939/2023, the applicant Abdus Salam Ahmed was directed to approach the trial court on 08.01.2024 for seeking regular bail and till that day only, his earlier interim bail order was made operating. Subsequently, the applicant could not appear before the trial court on 08.01.2024 because Page No.# 2/2 of certain personal reasons. The applicant now seeks an order extending the time for appearing before the trial court. After hearing the learned counsel for both sides, the applicant is directed to appear before the trial court within 15 (fifteen) days from today. Further, it is directed that the interim order passed earlier in favour of the petitioner shall continue till the case commits to the court of the learned Sessions Judge and the learned Sessions Judge shall consider the bail application of the petitioner.
