For Respondent(s) : Ms. Pinki Chakraborty, Adv. HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE BISWAJIT PALIT Order 03/03/2026 Learned Senior Counsel, Mr. Purusuttam Roy Barman assisted by Learned Counsel, Ms. Aradhita Debbarma is present on behalf of the petitioner. The present petitioner has challenged the memo dated 18.10.2025 issued by the respondent-authority by which he was transferred from Avangchara H.S. School, Santirbazar, South Tripura to Sidhu Kanu Smriti School, Rajnagar, South Tripura. This Court earlier granted time to the State- respondents to file counter affidavit. The State-respondents have not submitted their counter affidavit. 2 However, today at the time of hearing, Learned Counsel, Ms. Pinki Chakraborty appearing on behalf of the State- respondents submitted that the State-respondents have withdrawn the order of transfer issued against the present petitioner by memorandum dated 06.11.2025. The copy of the same is also submitted to the Court. Learned Counsel further submitted that since the order of transfer which was challenged in this writ petition has been withdrawn by the respondent-authority, so, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. As such, Learned Counsel urged for disposal of this writ petition. Learned Senior Counsel, Mr. Roy Barman also shared the same view as of Learned Counsel, Ms. Pinki Chakraborty and submitted that this memorandum dated 06.11.2025, by which the order of transfer of the present petitioner was withdrawn, may be kept with the record and this writ petition may be disposed of. In view of the above, this present writ petition stands disposed of. JUDGE Deepshikha MOUMITA DATTA Digitally signed by MOUMITA DATTA Date: 2026.03.05 16:23:30 -08'00'
