SOMA RAJU YELISETTI The Court made the following: ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.6637 of 2015 on 17.11.2022. 2. The petitioner has filed the aforesaid writ petition aggrieved by the action of the respondents in keeping the partition deed dated 29.09.2014 submitted before the 5th respondent for registration on 30.09.2014, pending in spite of payment of appropriate and correct stamp and registration and other charges, wherein this Court passed the following order: “…In view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue, the respondent authority is directed to receive and process the document(s) submitted by the petitioner as per the provisions of Section 71 of the Act. In case the instrument presented cannot be registered, the respondent authority shall pass appropriate orders as required under Section 71 of the Act.” 3. Heard Sri. T.V.P. Sai Vihari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. Y. Somaraju, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2. 4. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr. Y. Somaraju, learned counsel representing both the respondents/contemnors has furnished a copy of the refusal order dated 17.07.2025 which was passed under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908, assigning reasons for the said refusal. 5. In view of the refusal order dated 17.07.2025, this Court is of the opinion that no contempt lies as against the respondents/contemnors. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said refusal order dated 17.07.2025, if at all aggrieved by the same. 6. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed.
