Case No. 233 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 376/313 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of Ms. Babita Mittal, learned J.M.F.C at Giridih. On the pretext of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix who is a major girl, aged about 22 years. Later on, he refused to marry her. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Ms. Babita Mittal, learned J.M.F.C at Giridih, or her successor, in connection with Saria P.S.
