This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2 of 2025, “State Vs. Rajendra Singh Bisht and three Others”, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Dwarahat, District Almora under Sections 323, 504, 506, 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2 . Ms. Priya Mewari, learned counsel for the applicants. 3 . Mr. Chitrarth Kandpal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1. 4 . Mr. Girish Kumar Arya, learned counsel for the 1 2025:UHC:9881 respondent no.2-informant-victim. 5 . Applicants are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Ms. Priya Mewari, Advocate. 6 . The respondent no.2 is present through video conferencing. She is identified by Mr. Girish Kumar Arya, Advocate. 7 . The applicant no.1 is the husband of the respondent no.2. The applicant no.2 is the mother and the respondent no.3 is the brother of the applicant no.1. The applicant no.4 is the wife of the applicant no.3. 8 . Both, the applicants and the respondent no.2 submitted that there were matrimonial disputes. They have settled their disputes. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No. 1 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The respondent no.2 has requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No. 2 of 2025. 9 . The said request has not been opposed by the respondent no.1/ State. 1 0 . Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2 of 2025, “State Vs. Rajendra Singh Bisht and three Others”, pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate, 2 2025:UHC:9881 Dwarahat, District Almora, are quashed. 1 1 . Resultantly, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2 of 2025, “State Vs.
