Following order was passed in this matter on 06.06.2025:-
“Notice. Mr. Vinod K. Gupta, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
Learned counsel for the respondents submits that Gratuity amount of Rs.11,12,133/- has been paid to the petitioner under a Cheque dated 26.05.2025. He further submits that the remaining liability due towards the petitioner shall be cleared by the respondents within three weeks.
Hence, list this matter after three weeks.”

During the course of hearing today, learned counsel for the respondents placed on record intra- departmental communication dated 27.06.2025 and on

that basis submits that the remaining retiral benefits in lieu of Leave Encashment have also been paid to the petitioner under a Cheque dated 27.06.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges that all retiral benefits have now been paid to the petitioner. He, however, submits that interest component on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits has not been released to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents assures to release the interest component on the delayed payment of retiral benefits within a period of six weeks from today.
In view of above submissions, this execution petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to clear its liability for paying interest to the petitioner on the delayed payment of retiral benefits within six weeks from today. Liberty is, however, reserved to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for the redressal of his surviving grievances, in case necessity so presents itself in future.
