Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to include ad hoc services rendered by petitioner from 8th October, 1986 till 6th June, 1989 as qualifying service for purposes of post retiral benefits. Further prayer for a direction to opposite parties for payment of pension and gratuity alongwith interest have also been sought. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that this case is covered by judgment rendered by this Court in the case of Ram Sewak Yadav versus State of U.P. and others and seeks benefits thereof. For the aforesaid grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation but seeks liberty to file a fresh representation before the authorities concerned. Considering innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into merits of the case, liberty is granted to petitioner to make a fresh representation before opposite party No. 4 i.e. Executive Engineer, Rural Engineering Department, Ayodhya. In case such a representation is filed, the same is required to be decided expeditiously by a reasoned and speaking order in the light of aforesaid judgment in case same is applicable, within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.
