(2) According to petitioner, Consolidation Officer passed an order of status quo on his application, however the said order is being violated by respondent no. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “i. To Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus and direct the respondent no. 3 and 4 to forthwith comply with the direction issued by respondent no. 2 vide order dated 15.10.2025 on the application made by the petitioner to maintain the status quo over the property in dispute during the course of pending proceedings, so that justice be done.” (3) Learned State Counsel rightly submits that the order passed by the Consolidation officer cannot be executed by filing a writ petition. He submits that if the order of Consolidation Officer is being violated, as alleged, then the petitioner should approach the appropriate authority as per the provisions of UP Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953. (4) This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority.
