The petitioner claims that his wife's jewels were pledged in connection with the loan secured by the petitioner's deceased father Late.Murugeshan on 07.12.2021. It is submitted that the petitioner's father died on 23.03.2022 leaving behing the petitioner, his brother and sister as legal heirs. Be that as it may, since the petitioner is the legal heir of Late.Murugeshan along with his siblings, the question of issuance of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation without notice to the other legal heirs cannot be countenanced. 4. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2025 after due notice to the other legal heirs of Late.Murugeshan, the father of the petitioner. The petitioner shall furnish the details of all legal heir together with legal heir certificate to the second respondent. The second respondent shall thereafter proceed to pass orders within a period of 8 weeks.
