By the instant petition, the petitioners are praying that they may be provided adequate security to their life and liberty since there is a threat perception from respondent nos. 3 to 8. 4. It is submitted that both the petitioners are major and they married with each other on 13.01.2025 as per the Hindu rites and their marriage is also registered on the same day copy of which is also annexed as annexure-2. The petitioner approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, by way of representation for protection of their life (Annexure-3 to the petition) but in vain. Hence, they approach this Court for protection of their life 5. In that view of the matter, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar is directed to take decision for providing police protection to the petitioners in view of the threat perception to the petitioners within three weeks. 6. Till the decision is taken on the representation, the concerned SHO shall provide adequate protection to the petitioners. 7.
