Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority for payment of family pension and gratuity in view of services rendered by her husband late Hukum Chandra Rathaur who passed away in harness on 9th December, 2019. It is submitted that for the aforesaid grievance petitioner has already submitted a representation dated Ist July, 2025. At present learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for final decision with regard to same. Considering innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into merits of the case, opposite party No. 3 i.e. Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Sitapur is directed to take final decision on the grievance of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. In case petitioner is found entitled for the aforesaid benefits, actual payment thereof shall be made within a period of six weeks thereafter. The petitioner shall annex a copy of the representation dated Ist July, 2025 alongwith certified copy of this order. The petition stands disposed of.
