The present writ petition has been preferred with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 02 and 03 to accept the Form of the petitioner for installation of new electric meter in his name in House No. 551ka/28, Ambedkar Park Road, Azad Nagar, Police Station- Krishna Nagar, Alambagh, Lucknow 226005 admeasuring about 1340 sqft and supply electricity to the petitioner of which the petitioner is the legal and bonafide occupier and co-sharer of 1/6 portion as per the law laid down by this Hon'ble Court in WRIT - C No. 28295 of 2014 titled as Seema Mansoor Versus U.P. Power Corporation Ltd. & 3 Others vide judgment dated 26.05.2014." It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of 1/6th portion of house and he has applied for an electricity connection which application is not being considered. Sri Karan Agarwal, learned counsel holding brief of Ms. Aprajita Bansal, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 2 & 3 on the basis of instructions says that the petitioner has not made any online application for grant of electricity connection. He has also not submitted the prescribed fees and affidavit and has not completed the formalities. The present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to first make an online application as prescribed under Rules for grant of electricity connection.
