Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.7 to A.9 in Crime No.13 of 2025 of Lakkavaram Police Station, Eluru, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 292, 296 read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 and Section 34(a) of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners had attended a social gathering organized by their friends in a private mango orchard on the outskirts of Lakkavaram Village on 19.01.2025, at approximately 2:30 AM. Upon the arrival of the police, the petitioners, apprehensive of the situation, fled the premises. It is further submitted that the police have seized all vehicles present at the location and have recorded statements from various individuals. The petitioners, who had traveled from Hyderabad solely to attend the gathering, contend that they had no involvement in the commission of any alleged offence. Furthermore, it is submitted that the event was conducted in a private mango orchard, situated away from the Village, ensuring that no disturbance was caused to the public. 2 CRL.P. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submits that the crime under Section 34(a) of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act and Section 6 of the Indecent Representation of the Women (Prohibition) Act are being investigated by the police and that the police would have to investigate further in this matter. 5. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Lakkavaram Police Station, Eluru, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2025 without taking coercive steps against the petitioners. 6.
