By means of the present petition, the petitioners have sought following relief:- "i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the FIR dated 17.4.2025 as Case Crime No. 0174 of 2025, under Sections 115 (2), 352, 351 (3), 85 of B.N.S., 2023 and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kadipur, District Sultanpur. ii.) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of FIR dated 17.4.2025 as Case Crime No. 0174 of 2025, under Sections 115 (2), 352, 351 (3), 85 of B.N.S., 2023 and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kadipur, District Sultanpur." 3. In compliance of order dated 11.8.2025 respondent no. 3 Smt. Durgawati and respondent no. 4 Preeti are present in person before this Court. 4. S.I. Devesh Yadav, Police Station Kadipur, District Sultanpur, has ensured the presence of the opposite party nos. 3 and 4 before this Court. 5. Since neither the petitioner no. 1, nor his counsel is present nor any request for adjournment of the case has been made, therefore, this petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. 6. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 7.
