PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: The learned counsel for the petitioner is challenging the denial of numbering of Crl.M.P. filed by the petitioner before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Krishna, Machilipatnam. The Registry of the District and Sessions Court has returned the petition on its maintainability. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition was initially filed on 26.11.2024 and it was returned on 29.11.2024. It was re-submitted on 20.03.2025, thereafter it was again returned. It is submitted 2 that the learned District and Sessions Judge ought to have numbered the petition, and that the office has been returning the petition inspite of the petition being maintainable. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. The petitioner can resubmit the petition by complying with the objections or having called it on bench for satisfying the learned District Judge regarding its maintainability. 4. With these observations, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 5.
