Mr. Anil K. Bisht, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Narayan Dutt, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Mr. Maneesh Bisht, learned counsel for private respondents. 4. Petitioner is serving as Assistant Teacher L.T. Grade. Presently, he is posted at Government Inter College, Dungrakot, Block Munakot, District Pirhoragarh. By means of this writ petition, he has sought a direction to the Competent Authority to transfer him to a Sugam place. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has served at Durgam places for more than 22 years, therefore, he is now entitled to be transferred to a Sugam place. 6. Learned State Counsel submits that in 2023, there was no vacancy in the Institutions, which were indicated by petitioner in his option, he, however, submits that if petitioner makes fresh representation regarding his transfer to the Competent Authority, he shall examine the claim, as per law. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Competent Authority. If petitioner makes 2025:UHC:9871 representation within two weeks from today, the Competent Authority shall examine petitioner’s claim, regarding transfer to a Sugam place, as per law, within four months thereafter.
