Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. This petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned letter/communication dated 28.5.2025, contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the order of cancellation passed by the Tehsildar, Tehsil Sandeela, District- Hardoi, after summoning its original. (iii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents not to give effect of the impugned order/communication dated 25.8.2025." 3. In pursuance of order passed by this Court earlier, learned Standing Counsel has produced before this Court the instructions sent by Sri Amit Yadav, Tehsildar, Sandila, Hardoi, wherein it has been stated that as per the record available in the office of Tehsildar, no opportunity of hearing was given to the petitioner before her Income Certificate was cancelled. The instructions are kept on record. 4. This petition is allowed only because no opportunity of hearing was given to the petitioner before cancelling her Income Certificate. The impugned Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Piyush Mishra Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C. Smt. Ravindri .....Petitioner(s) State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy./Prin. Secy. Revenue Deptt. Lko. And 2 Others .....Respondent(s) letter/communication dated 28.5.2025 is set aside. The Tehsildar, Sandila, Hardoi shall issue a show cause notice to the petitioner indicating the reasons for proposed cancellation of Income Certificate within one week from today. If such a notice is issued, the petitioner shall file reply to the same within a period of two weeks from the date of service of such notice.
