This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature certiorari, thereby quashing the impugned auction notice/order dated 15.07.2025 of the shops of the petitioners, issued by opposite party no. 3, contained as Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition, in the interest of justice." 3. Learned Standing Counsel for the State Respondents, on the basis of telephonic instructions, says that the auction proposed to be held has been cancelled. 4. It has been argued that the writ petition has become infructuous after cancellation of auction. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum again, if they are aggrieved by the order passed afresh.
