JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. Rajesh Kr. Singh, Advocate For the State : Mr. Ajay Kr. Pathak, A.P.P. For the Informant : Mrs. J. Mazumdar, Advocate --- 03/24.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bashisthnagar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. On 03.02.2025, brother of the informant namely Ramesh Kumar Saw went missing. On 04.02.2025 his dead body was recovered from Baniyabandh. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner that he might have committed the murder of the deceased. Mrs. J. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has also confessed his guilt. Considering the fact that apart from confession there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra, in connection with Bashisthnagar P.S. Case No. 07 of 2025. September 24, 2025 (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/- Uploaded
