Instant application has been filed with the prayer to quash the impugned order dated 21.7.2025 passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (A.P.), Lucknow along with its entire criminal proceeding passed in Criminal Case No.13590 of 2018 (State Vs. Nutan and others) relating to Case Crime No.0248 of 2017 under Sections 147, 148, 452, 504, 506 I.P.C., P.S. Chauk, District Lucknow. It has been pointed out by learned counsel for the parties that the parties have settled their dispute by way of entering into settlement/agreement on 30.4.2025 and, therefore, criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No.13590 of 2018 arising out of Case Crime No.0248 of 2017 under Sections 147, 148, 452, 504, 506 I.P.C. P.S. Chauk, District Lucknow pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (A.P.) Lucknow may be quashed. From perusal of the settlement/agreement which is placed before the Mediator, vide the report dated 30.4.2025, in Application U/S 482 No.1297 of 2025, it transpires that the parties have settled their dispute, therefore, allowing further criminal proceedings would not sub-serve any purpose. Consequently, criminal proceedings against the applicants in Criminal Case No.13590 of 2018 arising out of Case Crime No.0248 of 2017 under Sections 147, 148, 452, 504, 506 I.P.C. P.S. Chauk, District Lucknow is hereby quashed. The application is allowed accordingly. Consigned to records.
