Ms. Neeti Rana, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioners are serving in Shri Durgadutt Kapialshrami Sanskrit Uttar Madhyama Vidyalaya, Haldwani, District Nainital. The said school started receiving financial aid from the State Government in the year 2015. Earlier it was an unaided school. 4. Since petitioners were not given the service benefits for the period during which the school remained unaided, therefore, they have approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- (i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing, the respondents to grant the entire service benefit of Selection Grade Time Scale as well as promotional pay scale to the petitioners by calculating the period of service rendered by the petitioners from the date of their initial appointment when the institute was self financed by treating the notional salary of the petitioners since the date of their initial appointments till the institute was came in grant-in-aid. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that Director, Sanskrit Education had issued a letter on 19.11.2024 to the Manager/Principal of the concerned School seeking certain information, 2025:UHC:9949 however, required information is still awaited from the Management of the concerned School. He submits that once the requisite information received from the Management, then decision shall be taken by the Competent Authority. 6. Having regard to the facts of the case, writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioners to approach the Management of the concerned School by making a representation. If petitioners make representation to the Manager of the concerned Institution, within two weeks from today, the Manager shall examine the matter and submit proposal to Director, Sanskrit Education, along with all requisite information, as required by Director in his letter dated 19.11.2024. The Director shall thereafter take decision in the matter, as per law, within three months of receipt of such information/proposal. This Court hopes and expects that the entire exercise shall be completed within six months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order before the Manager.
