1. The present appeal has been filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act,
1989.
2. Heard learned counsel for the appellant, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the respondent No.2.
3. The appeal has been filed against the impugned order dated 14.05.2025 in Misc. Cr. Application No.1000 of 2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge SC/ST Act, Hazaribagh in connection with SC/ST Case No.51 of 2024 arising out of SC/ST P.S. Case No.18 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 506, 504 and 384 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3(i)(s) of the SC/ST (Prevention

of Atrocities) Act. The case is presently pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge SC/ST Act, Hazaribagh.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is a Member of Trade Union namely Janta Mazdoor Sangh and also Secretary of CCL Welfare Board and the appellant has not abused the informant indicating his caste name and has not demanded any ransom from him as alleged in the FIR. He further submits that the matter has been compromised between the appellant and the informant and good relationship has been restored between them and to that effect joint compromise petition has been filed before the learned Special Judge. He submits that the appellant has no criminal antecedent and he is in judicial custody since
14.05.2025.
5. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submits that the matter has been compromised and good relationship has been restored between the appellant and the respondent No.2.
7. In view of compromise petition filed before the learned Special Judge coupled with the fact that a good relationship has been restored between the appellant and the respondent No.2, as such the appellant, named above, is
directed to be released on bail, on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge

8. The order dated 14.05.2025 in Misc. Cr. Application No.1000 of 2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI-cum-Special Judge SC/ST Act, Hazaribagh in connection with SC/ST Case No.51 of 2024 arising out of SC/ST P.S. Case No.18 of 2023 is hereby set aside.
9. In the result, the instant appeal stands allowed and disposed of.
