The present petition has been filed with the following main reliefs:-
" (a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari thereby quashing the impugned consequential order no.E- 42099/CISF/ SS/ OPS/ HHR/2015-635 dated 6.2.2015 passed by The Deputy Inspector General, Central Industrial Security Force/ SSG, Greater Noida, U.P.(o.p.no.3.) contained in annexure no.l.to the writ petition as well as order no.VI- 23014/285/2011-VS dated 2.2.2015 issued by Ministry of Home Affairs after summoning its original, whereby security arrangements of petitioner have been withdrawn without assigning any reason. (b) to issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding the opp.parties to provide suitable security to the petitioner looking into the threat perception to the life of the petitioner. It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that he is a social worker and also a businessman and having a petrol pump, rice mill and a brick field and he had contested General Elections for Lok Sabha in 2019 against Shri Rahul Gandhi as an independent candidate. As a result of such contest, several persons have become inimical to the petitioner. The petitioner moved an application for grant of Z category security in the year 2013 from C.I.S.F.. Such application was rejected in the year 2015 but later on when he was contesting General Elections for Lok Sabha, he has given some security, now the
same has been withdrawn.
Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that the petitioner has challenged the two orders, which are more than 10 years old. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not want to press the prayer no. 1. He presses only prayer no. 2 for issuance of mandamus to the respondents to provide adequate security to the petitioner. We do not find any good ground to grant the prayer no. 2 as made by the petitioner. He has sufficient means to engage private security personally. Writ petition is dismissed.
