Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Neerav Chitravanshi, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. With the consent of the parties, the matter is being decided finally. 3. Grievance of the petitioner is that despite juniors to the petitioner having been promoted in July, 2022 and August, 2024, the case of the petitioner for promotion has not been considered. 4. On the other hand, Shri Neerav Chitravanshi, learned counsel for the respondents on the basis of instructions dated 07.08.2025 sent by the Deputy Secretary of the U.P. Power Corporation states that the case of the petitioner for promotion was considered in July, 2022 and August, 2024 (not in October, 2024 as stated by the petitioner). It is stated that on account of pendency of the departmental proceedings, his case was considered and kept in a sealed cover. 5. Shri Neerav Chitravanshi, learned counsel for the respondents further states said department proceedings are still pending against the petitioner and in case the petitioner is not visited with any penalty, the sealed cover would be opened and it would be acted upon. Aforesaid statement is recorded. 6. Considering the aforesaid and the fact that the disciplinary proceedings are still pending, the writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Shrish Kumar Gaur Counsel for Respondent(s) : Neerav Chitravanshi Prashant Shekhar Srivastava .....Petitioner(s) U.P.
