PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.201 of 2021, on the file of New Port Police Station, Visakhapatnam. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 22.06.2021, this Court has passed the following order: “Therefore, while allowing the investigation to go on, there shall be a direction to the Investigating Officer not to take any coercive steps including arrest against the petitioners, till the disposal of the main Criminal Petition.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on oral instructions has informed this Court that in view of the order passed by this Court on 22.06.2021, the Police have proceeded with the investigation, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same. 4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition after completion of the investigation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
