According to them, they got married against the wish of their family members, therefore they are facing threat from respondent Nos. 4, 5 and 6. As per document enclosed with the writ petition, both the petitioners are major. 3. Petitioners are present before us. Petitioner No. 1 stated that she is employed as teacher in a private school at Kashipur. She further stated that two days ago, she has tendered resignation from the school and now she is no more in employment Petitioner No. 2 states that he is employed as Sales Manager in a private company with headquarter at Delhi. 4. Learned State Counsel submits that both the petitioners profess Hindu religion but they belong to different communities, which may be the reason for dissatisfaction among the family members of the petitioners. He submits that he has no objection if protection is granted to petitioners in view of the law of the land. 5. State Counsel further submits that as per 2025:UHC:11577-DB pleading made in the writ petition, both the petitioners are residing at Ghaziabad and not within the limits of State of Uttarakhand. 6. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing SHO, Police Station-Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar, to provide protection to petitioners whenever they visit Kashipur or any part of District Udham Singh Nagar. Petitioners shall give prior intimation of their impending visit to the SHO concerned so that he may make necessary arrangement. 7. For period of eight weeks from today, the SHO concerned shall ensure that no harm is caused to petitioners from private respondents or anyone acting at their behest during this period. Upon expiry of eight weeks, SHO, concerned shall make fresh assessment of threat perception to petitioners, and adopt such measures, as are deemed necessary for the safety and security of petitioners. 8.
