Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State. 2. The present writ petition is filed with the following prayers :- "(a) Issue a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent University to pay the pension and gratuity etc. to the petitioner as extended to the other similarly appointed employees namely Shri Kuldeep Kumar and Shri Ashok Kumar Singh (Annexure Nos. 9 and 10 at Page Nos. 42 and 51 to the writ petition); (b) Issue a suitable writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent University to process the pension papers of the petitioner in pursuance to the letters dated 25.04.2024 and that of the Comptroller dated 23.4.2024 (Annexure No. 5 at Page No. 22 to the writ petition) in which his name finds place at serial no. 13." 3. Learned counsel for the respondent-University on instructions submits that pension papers of the petitioner has been forwarded to respondent no. 2 on 5.4.2025. 4. In view of the fact that pension papers have already been sent to respondent no. 2, it is hereby directed that pension of the petitioner pending before respondent No.2 be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 5.
