This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the petitioners difference amount of Salary, Gratuity, Surrender Leave, Pensions, pensions Arrears and to revise pensions on the basis of 12 (3) Settlement dated 04.01.2018 along with 6 percent interest. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as a Conductor in the respondent Corporation on 16.04.1986 and after completing 31 years of service, he was retired on 31.03.2017 on attaining the age of superannuation. 12(3) settlement has come into force from 01.09.2016 and it has come into effect with effect from 04.01.2018 and on the basis of the said settlement, the petitioner is entitled for 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP(MD). No.21632 of 2025 revised pension. However, since the same was not calculated, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 24.04.2025. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Considering the limited scope of the matter, without adverting to the merits or the contentions made, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner as per 12(3) settlement and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
