This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "Issue an order or direction to the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Prayagraj (Respondent No.2) to decide the Motor Accident Claim Petition No.688 of 2019 (Smt. Sushila and another Vs. Smt. Anubha Singh) under section 166/140 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, which is still pending before the learned Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Prayagraj since 10.07.2019 expeditiously within stipulated period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended that Motor Accident Claim Petition No.688 of 2015 is pending consideration before Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Prayagraj. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for early disposal of the said claim petition. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Prayagraj to decide the Claim Petition No.688 of 2019 (Smt. Sushila and another vs. Smt. Anubha Singh), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
