Hon'ble Manish Mathur,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State Counsel for opposite parties no. 1 & 2. 2. In view of order being passed, notice to opposite parties no. 3 to 11 stands dispensed with. 3. Petition has been filed challenging seniority list dated 30.12.2024 for the post of Assistant Manager (Technical). 4. It has been submitted that after issuance of tentative seniority list, only one week's time was granted for filing of objections whereafter impugned seniority list has been finalized but due to such less time being available, petitioners were unaware of the aforesaid aspect and therefore, could not file their objections. It is submitted that in view thereof, petitioners had made a representation to the State Government, in pursuance of which the State Government vide letter dated 03.07.2025 has required the opposite party no.2 i.e. Commissioner & Director Industries & Enterprises Promotion Directorate U.P., Kanpur to address grievances of petitioners. It is submitted that the aforesaid aspect is still pending consideration before the opposite party no.2 and requires to be decided expeditiously since further promotions are in the pipeline. 5. Learned State Counsel has not been provided any instructions. 6. Considering innocuous prayer being and in view of letter dated 03.07.2025 issued by State Government, the opposite party no.2 i.e. Commissioner & Director Industries & Enterprises Promotion Directorate U.P., Kanpur is directed to consider and decide petitioners' grievances after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned, expeditiously within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority. 7.
