This petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant and provide with incentive increments to the petitioner from the date of acquiring BA and MA degree qualification by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 05.10.2018,05.11.2020,12.01.2023, 04.11.2023 within a period fixed by this Court and pass orders. 3. The case of the petitioner is that he is working as a Secondary Grade Teacher and pursued the Additional qualification of BA and MA after obtaining proper permission from the 3rd respondent. The sum and substance of the case is that the 3rd respondent granted permission for the 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis academic year 2013 to 2016 but in the proceedings there was a typographical error which shows the academic year as 2013 to 2015, hence asked the petitioner to rectify the error and the petitioner was instructed to make an application claiming incentive increments for the said degree courses. Pursuant to which the said error was rectified in the proceedings issued on 04.06.2013. However, the petitioner was not granted incentive, hence she made a representation to the authorities concerned and there was no progress in the said representation , which has given rise to this petition. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's transfer application and pass orders. 5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. 6. Considering the facts of the case, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the respondents to pass orders in the petitioner's transfer application on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. With the above observations this writ petition stands disposed of.
