Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that vide order dated 27/09/2024 passed in WPS No.4597/2024, this Court has expected that the respondent No.3/ District Education Officer, Raipur in the said writ petition shall take a decision on the notice/ application dated 15/05/2024 submitted by the petitioners therein, within a period of 120 days from the date of production of copy of the order passed by this Court. He further submits that on two occasions i.e. 03/10/2024 & 24/02/2025, the petitioners apprised the respondent No.3 with regard to the order passed by this Court, however, no decision has been taken till date. 2. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the documents. 3 / 3 3. From perusal of the order dated 27/09/2024 (Annexure P/1 herein), it appears that this Court has not directed the respondent No.3 to decide the representation whereas, it was expected by the Court that the respondent No.3 shall take a decision on the notice/ application dated 15/04/2024 submitted by the petitioners. It appears that in spite of repeated requests made by the petitioners, the respondent No.3 has not decided the said application submitted by the petitioners. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners, it is directed that the respondent/ District Education Officer, Raipur herein to take a decision in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The petitioners are at liberty to apprise the respondent with regard to the order passed by this Court. 6. With the aforesaid observation, the present contempt petition is disposed of.
