Petition has been filed on behalf of Association concerned seeking a direction to opposite parties for considering promotion of employees working in Subordinate Officer as per seniority list dated 12.12.2023. 3. Learned State counsel has been provided written instructions dated 05.08.2025, a copy of which is taken on record and as per which promotion could not be considered in view of the fact that quorum of the Selection Committee particularly with regard to post of Deputy Director of Consolidation was vacant. 4. It has been submitted by learned State counsel that the process of regular selection of the post of Deputy Director of Consolidation is underway and shall be completed shortly and in the meantime vide order dated 05.08.2025, Consolidation Commissioner U.P has been authorized to perform functions of Additional Commissioner, Consolidation. 5. In view of aforesaid submissions, opposite parties are directed to consider petitioner's representation for the prayer so made expeditiously. 6.
