1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner who is a retired accountant in the ofÏce of respondent no. 2, retired on 30.09.2023 seeking a direction towards the respondent for payment of his retiral dues.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as far as GPF and leave encashment of the petitioner is concerned, the same is not released till date.
3. Learned counsel for the State and Mr. Anil Kumar Tirkey, the Nodal OfÏcer of the Department of Treasury Bilaspur appears and submit
3 that the process for payment of GPF and leave encashment has already been initiated and the same shall also be released to the petitioner within a period of 30 days.
4. I have heard both the parties.
5. Looking to the submission made by the OfÏcer present before this Court and the counsel for the respondent, the writ petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to release the GPF and leave encashment after verification of the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 30 days from today.
6. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Sd/-
