None present for the petitioner. 2. Mr. S.K. Nainwal, learned Standing Counsel, for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner was appointed as Law Officer in Uttarakhand Mandi Parishad vide order dated 31.10.2006 passed by the Director Mandi. Subsequently, he was appointed as “Sahayak Nagar Adhikari” in Nagar Nigam, Dehradun on deputation for a period of one year vide order dated 07.11.2015. Petitioner has challenged the said order of deputation by contending that he should have been appointed as Executive Officer, which is a superior post. 4. Since no one can be sent on deputation from one organization to another without his consent, therefore, petitioner could have refused to go on deputation on the post of “Sahayak Nagar Adhikari”. Thus, the challenge thrown by the petitioner to the order dated 07.11.2015 does not appear to be sustainable. Even otherwise also, the term for which petitioner was sent on deputation is over long back, therefore, no useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending. 5.
