THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: Digitally signed by CHANDANA B M Location: High Court of Karnataka - 2 - NC: 2025:KHC:16974 WP No. 2633 of 2025 CORAM: HON'BLE MR JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks the following reliefs: “i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order or direction, directing the 2nd Respondent to permit the Petitioner to attend the classes and to appear for the Internal Assessment Examinations of II B.V.Sc & AH (MSVE 2016) - 2024-25 (Annexure-‘F’ Notification No.COE/Int.Exam.Schd /II/BVSc & AH-24-25/2024-25/671 dated 20.12.2024. ii) Grant such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case including the costs.” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents has filed a memo, which reads as under: “It is submitted that the petitioner has deposited the Registration fee to the account of the College dated 03.12.2024 and the petitioner was permitted to attend second academic year classes from 31.01.2025 in compliance of interim order. The University has instructed that the petitioner may be considered for registration to the course with effect from 31.01.2025 and the petitioner’s eligibility for annual board examinations would be subject to fulfillment of 75% of his attendance as per MSVE regulations 2016 Regulation 15(2) - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:16974 WP No. 2633 of 2025 and 15(3). Hence, the Memo may kindly be taken on record in the interest of justice and equity.” 4. The aforesaid memo is taken on record. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and the memo filed on behalf of the respondents, petition stands disposed of directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for registration of the course in question w.e.f.31.05.2025 and proceed further, in accordance with law. 6. It is further made clear that the present order is passed in the peculiar / special facts and circumstances of the instant case and the same shall not be treated as precedent nor shall carry any precedential value for any purpose whatsoever.
