Shri Shikhar Anand, learned counsel has accepted notice on behalf of the respondent No.1. The instant petition has been preferred seeking expedition of Claim Petition No.295/2024 (Pawnesh Kumar v. State of U.P. and others), pending before the respondent No.1 since February, 2024. The Court has considered the submissions and also perused the material on record including the extracts of the order-sheets which have been brought on record. This Court finds that it cannot be said that the matter has not been taken up by the Presiding Officer. Considering that the the claim petition is of the year 2024, this Court, at this stage, is not inclined to entertain the petition. However, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the Tribunal concerned to expedition. With the aforesaid liberty, the petition is disposed of.
