Although petition has been filed challenging punishment order dated 31st May, 2021 and appellate order dated 7th December, 2023 as well as suspension order dated 15th October, 2020 and charge sheet dated 17th November, 2020 but petitioner has also sought a direction to competent authority to decide statutory revision dated 29th Janaury, 2024 preferred in terms of Rule 13 of U.P. Governments Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1999. In view of the fact that statutory revision is pending consideration for more than one and half years, opposite party No.1 i.e. Additional Chief Secretory/Principal Secretary, Department of revenue, Government of U.P., Lucknow is directed to decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is served upon the said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of the revision dated 29th January, 2024 alongwith certified copy of this order. The petition stands disposed of.
