Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This petition has been filed with the following main prayer:- "(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus commanding/directing the opposite party no.4 to investigate the Case Crime No.345/2024 U/s. 305 B.N.S., Police Station- Kotwali Dehat, District- Sitapur in fair and proper manner which was initiated in pursuance of the First Information Report dated 27.12.2024, contained as Annexure No.1 to the writ petition." 3. Learned A.G.A. has produced before this Court instructions dated 30.07.2025 sent by Sri Dinesh Singh, Investigating Officer/ Station House Officer, P.S. Kotwali Dehat, Sitapur. From a perusal of the said instructions, it is evident that initially an application under Section 173(4) B.N.S.S. was filed by the complainant on which an order was passed on 07.12.2024 to register the F.I.R. The investigation has been carried out and a Final Report has been prepared, which has now been submitted to the Supervisory Authority. 4. Instructions are kept on record. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, has submitted that the Supervisory Authority has returned the Final Report directing further investigation. 6. If that be so, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Forum, in case he is still aggrieved.
