V VINOD K REDDY The Court made the following: 2 Common Order: This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the action of respondents in not paying salary since December 2016 in favour of petitioner as illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and violation of principles of nature justice and consequently, direct the respondents to pay due salary to the petitioner since December, 2016 with all consequential benefits. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that petitioner is working as Senior Assistant in 4th respondent Degree College and his salary from December, 2016 to October, 2021 has not been credited till date. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that counters have been filed by the respondents and at Para No.16 of the counter contemplates that on certain charges, the amounts have not been credited to the account of the petitioner. Subsequently, an amount of Rs.16,28,522/- i.e., salary to be paid to the petitioner from December, 2016 has been credited to the account of the petitioner herein on 11.01.2021, vide, Token No.2021/2256/261. 4. Since the amount has been credited to the petitioner herein, the cause of action in the Writ Petition does not survive. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, the Contempt Case is also closed. 6. As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ K.
