Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application for demarcation filed by the petitioner was decided by Assistant Collector, vide order dated 4.4.2025, however, the said decision was not brought to the notice of this Court, which led to passing of order dated 31.7.2025, whereby Assistant Collector, Dehradun was directed to take necessary steps to decide the application within six months. The order, earlier passed on petitioner’s application, is on record as Annexure-5 to the writ petition. 4. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner’s demarcation application stands decided by the competent authority, the review application is allowed and the order dated 31.7.2025 is hereby reviewed. The writ petition is restored to its original number. 5. Mr. M.S. Tyagi, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner then sought permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as above.
