It is informed in response to our earlier orders by Shri Bisen, learned Standing Counsel that the judgment of the Writ Court dated 17.01.2014 passed in Writ Petition 3626 (S/S) of 2001 was implemented, the private opposite party-petitioner was taken back in service on the post of Chief Cashier and has even retired on attaining the age of superannuation in 2015. we are now in 2025. It is also informed that all post retiral benefits have been paid to him. 3. By the order dated 17.07.2001 which was impugned before the Writ Court, the private opposite party-respondent was reverted to the post of Cashier consequent to reversion of another person namely- Shri Anil Kumar Mishra to the post of Chief Cashier i.e. the post on which the opposite party had been promoted in the interregnum. It is too late in the day to consider the merits of the judgment passed by the Writ Court. 4. The matter should be laid at rest. 5. The appeal is disposed of, accordingly.
