The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the respondents in trying to interfere with the possession of the petitioner over an extent of 11½ Ankanams of Botikarlapadu Village, Kanigiri Mandal, Prakasam District, without issuing any notice or without following any due process of law. 2. It is the further case of the petitioner that he has purchased the subject property on 31.08.1995 and since the date of the purchase, he is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. While so, the respondents, without issuing any notice and without following due process of law, are trying to interfere with his possession. Questioning the said action, the present writ petition is filed. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue placed the instructions dated 17.04.2025 furnished by the 4th respondent. 4. On perusal of the said instructions, it is clearly stated that the subject lands vest with Grampanchayat, therefore, the question of interference by the respondents over the subject lands does not arise. It is further stated that they did not interfere with the possession of the petitioner. 5. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by both the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the possession of the petitioner except in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
