Petitioners were regular employee of Sitarganj Cooperative Sugar Factory Ltd., Sitarganj, District Udham Singh Nagar. The said sugar factory was closed w.e.f. 15.12.2017 and petitioners were thereafter given voluntary retirement from different dates. 7. In this writ petition, petitioners have raised the grievance regarding non- payment of arrears of salary and they have also claimed retiral dues, including arrears as per the revised pay scale. 8. Annexure 9 to the writ petition is an order passed by Coordinate Bench in a similar petition. 9. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the 2025:UHC:10643 relief claimed by petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make representation(s) to Secretary, Cane Development & Sugar Industry, Uttarakhand, within two weeks from today. If such representation(s) is made by petitioners within stipulated time, the Secretary shall examine the matter and take decision, as per law, within four months thereafter.
