Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This interlocutory application has been filed for correction of the cause title in the Anticipatory Bail Application, which has been numbered as AB Case No. 1206/2025, pending before this Court in connection with Gossaigaon P.S. Case No. 56/2025, registered under Sections 137(2)/142 of the BNS. It is submitted by Mr. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner, that after filing the Anticipatory Bail Application, the learned SDJM (M), Gossaigaon, vide order dated 21.05.2025, allowed the Investigating Officer’s prayer for adding Sections 65(1)/64(2)(m) of the BNS and Section 6 of the POCSO Act. In view of the same, the learned counsel submits that the cause title of AB Case No. 1206/2025 requires correction/amendment. He also prays for making the informant a party to the proceeding as respondent No. 2. In this regard, Mr. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, has raised no objection. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels for both sides, the prayer for amendment of the cause title as well as for impleading the informant as respondent No. 2 is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to do the needful. Further, after filing the amended cause title, the petitioner is directed to take necessary steps for service of notice upon respondent No. 2 by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process.
