The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: "(i) issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties concerned to get removed the illegal encroachment made over the Gram Sabha Land bearing gata no. 667 mi. (category 6-1: Jalmagn bhumi) ad-measuring 0.0400 hectare and gata no. 858 (category 6-2; Aakirshak bhumi) ad-measuring 0.5870 hectare) are situated at Revenue village Kodari, Tehsil and District Balrampur. 3. Learned Standing Counsel, based upon instructions states that the proceedings under Section 67 of the U.P Revenue Code have been initiated and are pending. 4. In view of the said statement, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the authority concerned to conclude the said proceedings with all expedition within the time, as prescribed in the statute, in accordance with law.
