1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is working on the post of Assistant Grade-II in the Office of Director, Veterinary
2 / 3 Services, Chhattisgarh, is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to consider his case for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade-I.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was promoted to the post of Assistant Grade-II in the year 2013 and has completed more than 05 years of service on the same post and entitled to get promotion to the post of Assistant Grade-I in accordance with the Chhattisgarh Class-III (Ministerial) Veterinary Services Recruitment Rules, 2009 (Schedule-IV). He further submits that the name of the petitioner is at serial No.1 in the gradation list dated 01/04/2024, however the case of the petitioner is not being considered for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade-I and for which the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25/10/2024 (Annexure P/7) before the Director, Veterinary Services, however till date, the same has not been considered by the respondent authorities.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that if the representation dated 25/10/2024 is still pending before the Respondent authorities, the same shall be considered in accordance with law, within the stipulated period.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents.
5. In view of the above submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the petitioner has already submitted a representation before the concerned authority
3 / 3 claiming his promotion, at this stage, without commenting anything on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2/ Director, Veterinary Services, Chhattisgarh to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the respondent No.2/ Director, Veterinary Services, Chhattisgarh with regard to the
