By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for a direction to the appellate authority/ respondent No. 2 to decide the pending statutory appeal against the order imposing punishment on merits even though the appeal is a little time barred by six months. 2. In the given facts and circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent No. 2 to decide the pending statutory appeal preferred by petitioner on merits condoning the delay, if any, in filing the appeal. 3. The appropriate decision shall be taken by the appellate authority within maximum period of three months from the presentation of certified copy of this order.
