JUSTICE A. GUNESHWAR SHARMA O R D E R 04-04-2025 [1] Present Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. N. Bipin, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents. [2] Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Civil Supply Inspector in the Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of Manipur in terms of the representation dated 07-03-2024 (Annexure-A/14 in the writ petition) against the available vacancy, if any. [3] Mr. Th. Sukumar, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents, has no objection in disposing of the writ petition by passing an innocuous order as prayed for. WP(C) No. 574 of 2024 & 2 Ors [4] Recording the submissions made at the Bar, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Civil Supply Inspector in the Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of Manipur in terms of the representation dated 07-03-2024 (Annexure-A/14 in the writ petition) against the available vacancy, if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. [5] It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case. [6] MC(WP(C)) No. 253 of 2025 and MC(WP(C)) No. 475 of 2024 also stand disposed of.
