The instant Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the Petitioners/Accused seeking quashment of the Proceedings against them in Crime No.26/2022 of Tadivaripalli Police Station, Prakasam District,registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 427 IPC and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(S) AND 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (PoA) Act,
1989.
Despite the matter being listed under the caption “For Dismissal” none represented for the Petitioners.

Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent No.1/State would submit that during the course of investigation, Police referred the case as „FALSE‟ and filed a copy of the letter dated 22.01.2025 issued by the Sub Inspector of Police, Tarlupadu Police Station to that effect.
4. Sri M.Srinu Babu, learned counsel for respondent No.2 is in attendance.
5. In that view, the criminal petition is dismissed for infructuous. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
